At NIC Capital, Carolyne has been involved in the KES 5.0bn Real People Medium Term Note Program, KES 2.0bn Platinum Credit Medium Term Note Program, KES 2.3Bn Fusion Capital Real Estate Investment Trust, KES 1.6Bn Equity Linked Note for Athi River Mining and KES 1.2bn Family Bank Rights Issue. She is currently involved in the sale of KES 1bn strategic stake in a local insurance company, KES 7.0 Billion or USD equivalent long term concessional debt or a blended finance capital raising, UGSH 34Bn Medium Term Note Program.
Prior to joining NIC Capital, Carolyne was an Investment Analyst at Old Mutual Asset Managers where she was involved in the investment analysis and recommendation of the KES 5bn NIC Bank Medium Term note and KES 2.0bn Rights Issue, KES 1.2bn Kalu works Medium Term note, KES 0.9bn Home Afrika Corporate Bond, and KES 5.0bn CIC Insurance Corporate Bond. Carolyne also offered ongoing investment analysis and recommendations on various listed companies including Barclays Bank, Stanbic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, NIC bank, Co-Operative Bank, Nation Media Group, Kenol Kobil, CIC Insurance Group, Centum Investment Co, and Nairobi Securities Exchange among others.
Carolyne graduated from The Nairobi University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance major) in 2013 and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa in 2005. She is currently enrolled as a CFA level 3 candidate.
