1. NIC Mobile Banking – USSD
You will be required to complete an application form in order to be set up on the service. This service is available to both Safaricom and Airtel Subscribers.
To activate mobile banking dial *488# and enter your PIN.
With NIC mobile banking you can:
Send airtime to your phone or to any Safaricom or Airtel Subscriber
Transfer of funds from your NIC Bank Account to any MPESA subscriber
Fund your NIC Bank account via MPESA using PayBill 488488
Pay your DSTV, GOTV and KPLC prepaid Token Top up directly from your mobile phone
Conduct fund transfers
Make requests for cheque books, full statement requests and forex rates
2. NIC NOW Mobile Application
The NIC NOW App is a Mobile Banking App owned by NIC Bank available on Android and IOS. The NIC NOW App has exciting features that make your banking experience with NIC Bank fast and convenient. The App can also be used by non NIC Bank customers. Enjoy the following features when you download the NIC NOW App:
