NIC Securities Limited (NICS) is a Capital Markets Authority licensed brokerage and a member of the Nairobi Stock Exchange. It is a limited liability company registered in Kenya under the Companies Act (Cap 486) of the laws of Kenya.
NIC Securities is owned by NIC Capital Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of NIC Bank.
NIC Bank was incorporated in 1959 as a non-bank financial institution and has since become a fully fledged commercial bank in which one of the larger shareholders is First Chartered Securities Group, a major local conglomerate of good repute.
