NIC
Bank Awards Winners
NIC Bank, the premier Asset Finance provider in Kenya, hosted
the Johari Awards recently. This is the first kind of awards
ceremony for the asset finance industry in the region. Johari,
is a Kiswahili word for something valuable, a treasure. It
is the name chosen to recognize and appreciate NIC's partners
in asset financing. For the last 47 years, NIC Bank has been
involved in financing assets with various partners. It is
from this background that the NIC Bank Johari Awards were
born to recognize and award the best performing sales partners.
This year marks the second consecutive year of the Awards
ceremony. The first awards ceremony was held in 2005
How
to Participate
To participate is easy. A sales partner just needs to sell
an asset- a vehicle, plant machinery or equipment- and have
it financed through NIC Bank. The person who finalizes the
transaction would indicate his or her details on the application
form. Information from the application form is then put in
a databank after each facility is drawn down. Prizes are based
on the value of business delivered and the results announced
at a gala awards ceremony organized by NIC Bank. "Teamwork
is what success is all about and the Johari Awards is our
way of appreciating our partners' efforts in making NIC Bank
the market leader both locally and regionally" says Edna Kihara,
Head of Asset Finance at NIC Bank.
